Does NumXL have any plans to support forecasting using Neural-Net (NN) or genetic programming (GP) algorithms. I know many practitioners use those sort of algorithms to fine-tune their trading strategies.
I am interested in financial time series neural networks. Is there any interest in Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) ANN's? PSO's are said to be superior to back propagation and genetic algorithms. There accuracy and convergence is also deemed excellent. Lastly, has anyone coded any .NET PSO's?
