Question:
NumXL is not loading in Excel 2007 or 2010. What am I doing wrong?
Answer:
Regardless of your Excel or NumXL version, the Macros security level must be set correctly to enable NumXL to run.

- Click the "Office Button" in the upper left corner of the Excel window to open the Office Menu.
- Click on the "Excel Options" button at the bottom of the Office menu window.
- The "Excel Options" window will appear.
- Select "Trust Center" in the middle of the menu bar on the left.
- Click on the "Trust Center Settings..." button on the right of the window.
- The "Trust Center" window will appear.
- Select "Macro Settings" in the middle of the menu bar on the left
- Select "Disable all macros, except digitally signed macros."
- Click OK to close the "Trust Center" window
- Click OK to close the "Excel Options" window

- Click on the "Excel Options" button at the bottom of the Office menu window.
- The "Excel Options" window will appear.
- Select "Trust Center" in the middle of the menu bar on the left.
- Click on the "Trust Center Settings..." button on the right of the window.
- The "Trust Center" window will appear.
- Select "Add-ins" at the top of the menu bar on the left
- Select "Require Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher."
- Clear or deselect (if applicable) "Disable all Application Add-ins (may impair functionality)"
- Click OK to close the "Trust Center" window
- Click OK to close the "Excel Options" window
