Question:
I had installed NumXL (an older version before 1.67) using my credentials (non-admin), and now I wish to uninstall it. However, when I try to run the NumXL uninstaller from "Settings --> Apps," Windows prompts me for the administrator's username and password to continue. What should I do?
Answer:
To properly uninstall NumXL from your system, run the NumXL uninstaller from "Program & Features" in the classic "Control Panel."
- To launch the classic control panel under Windows 10, go to the "start" menu on your desktop (the left bottom with the "Windows logo") and type "control."
- Now, click the "Control Panel" icon in the search results to launch the App.
- Next, click the "Uninstall" link to locate the NumXL program and begin the uninstallation process.
