Detrend Function
I try to use the detrend function and input a 32-cell array as x.
However, the output is a single value instead of a 32-cell array. Did I do something wrong please?

The detrend function returns the detrended time series as an array. Please, see this article for arry-type excel functions:

You would need to select the target cells-range and place the results there (see the article above)
